CrossFit

Constantly varied, functional fitness StrongBox is home to CrossFit Quwwa, Qatar’s first CrossFit affiliate founded in early 2013. CrossFit is a group strength and conditioning programme that is designed to prepare you for anything life throws at you. CrossFit Quwwa WODs (Workouts Of the Day) are designed by our head coach to develop strength, increase cardio vascular fitness and improve your balance, coordination and agility. CrossFit is fun group programme but it is technically demanding so good coaching is essential. At StrongBox our CrossFit coaches are second to none with high performing athletes with qualifications and experience in a wide range of disciplines. We have a mixed CrossFit class and also a dedicated ladies only CrossFit space and over 7 hours of classes every weekday. CrossFit Basics – Every new CrossFitter begins in our Basic course. CrossFit Basics is always done as a personal training option so that you have a really solid introduction to the right way to train. This course will ease you into the intensity of the CrossFit workouts and will also allow you to train at any CrossFit gym in the world without the need for a further introduction

1000CC

1 hour of high intensity, interval training in a close, fun packed group environment all done with a pumping soundtrack. 1000CC is Qatar’s original high-intensity work out created in 2009. It burns up to 1,000 calories in one class (!!!), tones muscle, maximizes fat loss, and increases your metabolism, so you actually burn calories even after class is over. This isn’t a trend, it’s science. AND it works!

The instructors push you to do what you didn’t even know you were capable of doing. The music, and the energy in the room will forget you’re even training (well a little bit)

Each class is different. You will never have the same routine — and never get bored. Expect to bike, row, jump, run, lift, pull and SWEAT!

CrossFit

MetCon

StrongBox Metcon requires NO experience with CrossFit and is open to all fitness levels. It will incorporate many of the bodyweight, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning workouts found in CrossFit but there will be NO heavy weightlifting or olympic lifting. As with CrossFit, all exercises can be scaled to ability. Overall, this program is fun, intense, measurable, and scaled to ability

Boxing HIIT

60 minute boxing conditioning class incorporating striking skills, movement and footwork, cardio conditioning and bag work. No contact but a great class for those looking to develop boxing skills or just enjoy a fun and intensive workout

CoreFit

A workout focussed on core strength, posture, and technique. Using the TRX, Kettlebell, and Bodyweight drills, CoreFit will develop toned muscles, a strong core, postural stability, balance, and technical skill.

Our in-house yoga programme aims to improve body awareness, flexibility and joint health. Combinations of passive stretching and active holds to build a solid foundation. Reset your body, mind and soul.

SwimHIIT

High intensity interval training IN (and sometimes OUT) of the pool. Combining innovative bodyweight exercises and swimming intervals you’ll feel your body working harder than ever with zero impact on the joints! Total body, fat burning for those that don’t mind getting WET.
